It’s the holiday season and it’s time to celebrate. It’s my first one on the east coast in a couple of years. What’s that you say? Yes, I moved back to the east coast. In the end it was time to be closer to family again. It has been a great move. LA leaves a lot of good memories. There are all of the friendsĀ that I met out there, the productions I got to act in, helping the USS Iowa find a home, and meeting Lauren (the most important thing). These are the things that made LA such a success in my life.
For those of you who aren’t aware, the USS Iowa was awarded to Pacific Battleship Center. Currently it is in Richmond, CA getting some much needed work as it is prepared for it’s journey to San Pedro. Once in San Pedro there will be more work to be done to get it ready to open to the public. If any of you are in either of these areas and want to help restore the Iowa visit www.pacificbattleship.com to see how you can help. If you don’t have time but would like to donate money there is information on how to do that as well. I look forward to the day I can walk aboard her decks again. I’m so happy that the memory of the Iowa-47 and all the men that served on her will be kept alive.
I look forward to what the east coast has in store for me. I do plan to continue acting when I can, so stay tuned for that as well.
Have a very Happy and Safe Holiday season.
